This remarkable three panel blanket, with a wide middle centerfield in plain dark indigo and side panels showing scores of narrow stripes and fine intricate white pattern on indigo, is typical of Insana.

A nearly identical piece has been published in The Textiles of Western Timor (fig. 143) while another similar one in Ikat (fig. 186).

This large selimut in good and tight weaving is in excellent condition.
